It was called the Developement of Western Civilization: Up to the Renesaince. I thought it would be like a history class, but wasn't. The professor was an old time hippie; rules are bad. Free thought. Do your own thing. No, you're doing it wrong! Do it this way! Make your own path in life. No! Your thinking is wrong. Think freely (my way) or you fail.

My act of defiance, petty as it was, was to write my paper about the roman military. When we opened the box however, it was actual filled by a dozen starving, crazed weasels! They jumped out and latched onto my face and I went running around screaming," Ah! Get them off me! Get them off! Ah, ah, ah!!!"

It just so happened that that's when I ran into the girl of my dreams. I'll never forget the very first thing she said to me. She said, "Hey, you've got weasels on your face." It was great for a while, but eventually I realized she could never accept me for who I am; a weasel encrusted boy from Nunavut. So my family went home and amid weeping and wailing and much gnashing of teeth.

By the way, thanks for not mentioning the weasels. One April Fool's me and my older brother were walking down a long and lonesome road..oops wrong story. Anyway, we got up in the middle of the night and crawled under our sisters' bed ( we were both small enough to fit under there which tells you how long ago it was). In the morning my mom came and woke them up and they sat up and were talking. We started shaking the bed which freaked them out and it was funny. The end.

I apologize that you suffered through the entire reading of this horrible dialog.

Quick Costume

You can get a pig nose and a small blanket and be a pig in a blanket.

Jokes (Ok only one joke)

What do you call a psychic midget that escaped from jail? For a while I deluded myself that I was speaking English and everyone else was speaking something else. That hypothesis died as I considered Occam's Razor. I have since decided that I have stumbled onto a rare Germanic language derived from English spoken by a extremely small minority; namely me.

It has actually been very exciting! I have been collecting data for the past several years and have submitted a paper to several linguistic journals with my findings. National Geographic did a short article about the rare language with amazing results. The scientific communities and governments of the world raised such a great outcry that it was immediatly voted as a world treasure and protected by the Endangered Languages Act along with Basque, Gaelic, Cheyenne, Urdu, Algonquin, Modern Aramaic, Appalachian English, Yakut, Sanskrit, and Esperanto.

Restaraunt

I like the Restaraunt at the End of the Galaxy

Scared? I got it from a lego block. Okay it was one of those little kid legos that are really big. Anyway, my friend and I had dumped a bucket of legos on the floor and were pushing some of his trucks through them. Blocks go flying, it's fun, and life is good as a kid. Well on one of my runs, the truck got stuck and flipped me over and I landed head first on a block. Not fun. I go home screaming with copious ammounts of blood streaming down my face. Here is where it gets really fun. My mother had just got back from the hospital the day before. She had shattered her knee cap and was in a ankle to hip cast on a bed in the living room. I can't imagine what was going through her head when I came bursting in. In the end a couple of neighbor ladies took me to the hospital to get stitches and I have a story to tell whenever people see the scar.

Cool Rocks

I think my favorite mineral is Galena. In terms of actual rocks, I went to the Smithsonian in January and saw some pretty cool stuff. I really liked the BIF they had in front of the building. It was pretty cool to see some Komatite (how do you spell that?) which I hadn't even seen a picture of before. They also had a piece of granite from Canada that was 3.96 billion years old! It was awsome to be able to touch it. While there I also gave the Hope Diamond a brief look but it was rather boring.

Cartoons

Well my favorite cartoon of all time would have to be X-Men. But its not pretty. In fact it kind of skews your whole vision of the world. Everything looks more dirty and grimy. Some people argue that it was just all the trash on the street, but I know better! They were in a spiritual and existential funk due to peanut butter candy deprevation! It just makes the everything so much nicer! Because rocks are cool! Do I sound like a nerd or what? Seriously though, I actually didn't start out in geology. While going to a community college I recieved a associate degree in geography. I choose that because I really like maps and enjoyed the geography class I took my first semester. However, when I transfered down here, all they had for geography majors was teaching and GIS. I don't want to be a teacher and I'm not very fond of computers (this class is good for me). I really liked my geology class that I had taken previously and had always liked physical geography the most, so I switched. Great decision, I love it.

Super Powers

Personally I have always thought that it would be pretty cool to be able to stop time and then have the ability to move around while everyone else is motionless.
